The Piritahi Alliance specialises in land development of Government owned land, ready to build both state and private homes.  This also includes designing and constructing new or upgrade infrastructure, parks and public places.

We have a great opportunity for an Assistant Programmer to join the team. You will work closely with the Programmer and have close communication with the various Alliance teams to ensure the accurate input of data within the overall project programme.

 

With our vision in mind, we seek a like-minded Assistant Programmer to support our team. This role will suit an individual that enjoys learning and working with new technology, while also passing on this knowledge by mentoring and coaching staff to ensure the software is being utilised to its full capacity.

 

Your day could consist of assisting the Design Team with the information they need to input into the programme to assisting the Construction team with planning a new project.

 

The position will suit an individual that enjoys certain aspects of structure but also doesn’t mind a changing and fluid role as at times the pace can change, and priorities can shift depending on the day and week. 

 

  Requirements:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
  • Previous Wrike software experience ideal but not a must as training will be provided you just need to be motivated to learn new software
  • Logical thinker that is able to question input of information
  • Computer literate & Tech savvy
  • Must be confident on Excel, MS project or P6
  • Someone that can communicate across different teams Designers, Estimators, Construction team
  • Be able to train and be a software “champ”
  • Bring importance of the programmes key dates / milestones to project teams
  • Ensure the input of information is accurate and correct due to the cross functional use
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong understanding of internal operational process
  • Professional polite, courteous and well-spoken, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Enjoys a fast and busy work environment, comfortable working autonomously.
  • Flexible & adaptable to changing work environment
  • Power BI experience would be advantageous
